Completed Projects

Antique Project

Package 1

This massive project under the DPWH/ADB 6th Road Rehabilitation Program was chiefly marked by the construction of the 44-kilometer
Portland Cement Pavement Road stretching from Culasi, Antique to Nabas, Aklan. Major construction work were excavation for embankment, subbase and base coarse installation, and pavement concreting; minor works included are slope protection works (riprap, stone masonry, sodding), road markings, and signages. For this project, 7 new bridges were constructed, 10 widened, and rehabilitated. For the new bridges, pre-stressedconcrete piling cast in situ concreting was used as foundation. Mattresses and gabions were used as slope protection for the bridge foundations in the piers and approaches.
